A little history about us…
Forte Theatre was founded in 2004 by Danielle Scott and Miriam Irwin. They
began as a performance based company and grotesque physical theatre was
their stimulation and niche. On discovering that schools and colleges desired
new and alternative learning methods and techniques, they embarked upon
their journey of introducing unique workshop experiences to Theatre in Education
and began their growth and establishment within the secondary school, college
and university sectors.
The Bouffon technique being Forte Theatre’s initial workshop kick
started their reputation throughout the South of England. Bespoke workshops
and Commedia Dell’Arte shortly followed and in 2008, Mask
was added to Forte Theatre’s repertoire of unconventional workshops.
Forte Theatre aim to…

and immediacy to support the progressive world of education
