		Development Workshop A brief explanation of the workshop content… The workshop will expand on the basics already leant in the introductory workshop by introducing new aspects to extend the students experience and knowledge. There are various important aspects of the Commedia technique that cannot be covered in the introductory workshop due to time and level of difficulty, and with this development workshop offered in conjunction with the introduction workshop, the students can gain a broader overview and understanding of this largely detailed technique. The introductory workshop covers: 5 of the core Commedia characters Using the character masks Drawing in the audience Character relationships Improvising comic gags – the Lazzi History and origins The development workshop covers: Refreshing and enhancing the 5 core characters Exploring the character relationships in more depth Looking at the full performance structure Exploring how the Lazzi (comic gags) fit in with the performance structure Playing with storylines and how to improvise around them Creating a commedia performance All depending on the age group depends on what we cover in the workshop. Packages and deals One day Introductory workshop Two day Extended workshop (The intro and development workshop combined) A week workshop with a student performance Tailor made packages can be discussed...
